Why East Side?
We started East Side Hauling in August 2023 with little more than a truck, trailer, and two pairs of overalls. Our mission is simple: help Sioux Falls live cleaner, happier lives by making junk problems disappear.
We chose the name "East Side Hauling" because we live on the east side of town.
Yes, really.

Meet the Haulers
Max
Owner, Husband, Hauler
Max is a born-and-raised Sioux Falls resident with an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Sioux Falls. He's passionate about web design, business automation, and keeping spaces clean. It was only a matter of time until he started a junk hauling company!
In-between storage unit cleanouts and runs to the dump, Max studies at UMN's Carlson School of Management in pursuit of an MBA.
Tay
Owner, Wife, Hauler
Originally from Mitchell, SD., Tay graduated from Mitchell Wesleyan University with a degree in exercise science before starting her own personal training company and returning to Sioux Falls. Tay maintains a handful of clients while keeping the team at East Side Hauling healthy and safe!
Even with a busy schedule, Tay finds time to visit Brookings and work towards a counseling degree at SDSU.

Our truck team will call you 15-30 minutes before your scheduled appointment window to let you knjow what time they'll arrive.
We'll take a look at the items you want to be removed and give you an all-inclusive price.
We'll remove your items, sweep up the area, and collect payment once we're done.
